About the ProjectTim Bishop is a commercial photographer, content creator, and — importantly — a Jiu Jitsu practitioner himself. He understands the culture, the community, and what it means to step on the mats.
The Grappler Project began at club level and has grown to cover elite competition events including Polaris Professional Jiu Jitsu Invitational, with portraits of world-class athletes including Ffion Davies, Levi Jones-Leary, and Joseph Chen.
But this project isn't just for champions.
It's for the white belt who just survived their first month. The blue belt who's been grinding for years. The parent who brings their kid to class every week and never gets in the photo. The competitor who finally wants something to show their sponsor.

Tim works directly with BJJ clubs to run portrait days on-site — no travel costs for your members, no awkward studio environments. Just clean, professional portraits taken in a space your members already feel comfortable in.
